Position Title

Asst Manager/ Manager –Quality

Position Summary

The person shall act as an interface between supplier & project site. He will coordinate and implement material quality at supplier premises and ensure defect free material reaches at site. He also monitors that all supplier, EPCs and service provider brought in Sterlite system should be assessed against relevant criteria & ensure material and reporting to the management.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Material and Supplier Quality Management

• Material Inspection at manufacturer facility as per the tender specifications, field quality plans and IS standards before dispatch of material to site
• Prepare Weekly & Monthly MIS for different management (CEO & MD) review on Quality functions
• Preparation of Supplier Onboarding assessment templates & procedures
• Supplier onboarding/ Inspections to be done at vendor facilities with help of TPIs.
• Co-ordinate with cross functional team like SCM, D&E & finance for material inspections to ensure zero defect material dispatch for site.
• Conduct online inspection and visit at supplier end for physical inspection.
• Review Quality reports and Material release of inspected material.Conduct Root cause analysis of material issues and define corrective actions.
