Assistant Manager – PLS CADD

Position Summary

This role will be responsible for Tower profiling and line optimization

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  1. Designing of transmission lines using PLS-CADD to determine optimised BoQ- Tower spotting, calculate conductor sags, determine right of way requirements, and develop transmission line plan and profile drawings.
  2. Manage and coordinate transmission line projects from inception to completion, including resolving site challenges & conducting site visits.
  3. Work with a multi-disciplinary team, including project team, planning, survey etc.
  4. Develop cost estimates, schedules and prepare specifications to design transmission lines for specific kV ranges
  5. Explore technology trends for transmission line design optimization
