Position Title

Chief Manager –Business modelling

Position Summary

Financial modelling and other financial aspects related to bids and new Business Acquisitions.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Building/reviewing financial models to support management on key financial decisions for upcoming TBCB bids
  • Building financial models to support management on key financial decisions for new bid orders ensuring the descent margins
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with VBA and macros.
  • Familiarity with other financial modelling tools and software
  • Assist Business Management for the critical decisions basis financial model for new business /sales acquisition
  • Applying appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment actions
  • Financial risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Updating & upgrading financial models as per the changing business environment and needs.
  • Leading the discussions with Finance, FP&A and Tax teams for finalising financing assumptions.
  • Business Acquisition forecast and planning
  • Working on new business ideas-market planning and business strategy
  • Preparation of AOP (Annual Operating Plan) for the BU and its consumption tracking head wise
  • Competition analysisSupport alliance team for the bidding compliances

Critical Success Factors - Essential

  1. CA/ CFA/ MBA (Finance) with 5+ years of work experience in financial/ business modelling
  2. Direct experience in developing financial model
  3. Proficiency in MS Excel/Macros
  4. Exposure in infrastructure sector, corporate tax laws, regulatory, policy, capital structuring, risk analysis, sensitivity/ scenario analysis

Critical Success Factors - Desirable

  1. Experience in competitive bidding of infrastructure projects
  2. Knowledge of using/ developing macros / Power BI’s /Automation tools
  3. Experience of more than 5-7 years in power sector/Telecom sector preferably in transmission industry
