Chief Manager - Claims (Solar)

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

 

Claims Management:

  •   Identify, assess, and prioritize contract claims.
  •   Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity and potential impact of claims.
  •   Develop and implement effective claim strategies to maximize recovery and minimize losses.
  •   Negotiate settlements with contractors, subcontractors, and other parties involved.
  •    Prepare and submit comprehensive claim documentation, including supporting evidence and legal arguments.
  •   Monitor and track the progress of claims throughout the entire lifecycle.
  •   Contract Review and Analysis:
  •    Review contracts to identify potential risk areas and opportunities for claims.
  •    Analyze contract terms and conditions to determine rights and obligations.
  •    Identify potential claims and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Dispute Resolution:

  •    Represent the company in mediation, arbitration, or litigation proceedings.
  •    Prepare and present legal arguments and evidence.
  •   Work closely with legal counsel to develop effective strategies for resolving disputes.

Serentica Renewables is a renewable energy generator that enables energy-intensive industries transition to a clean energy future. We provide assured, firm renewable energy (RE) by developing, operating, and dispatching greenfield solar, wind, energy storage with balancing solutions.

Serentica plans to install ~1500 MW of solar & wind power across multiple sites in the states of the Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra where the company has already acquired connectivity approvals. A large part of this capacity will be used to deliver close to 600MW of round-the-clock clean energy to various entities of the Vedanta Group. The company will focus on providing direct green energy solutions to commercial and industrial customers.

 

Aiding India’s Decarbonization agenda

Serentica is committed to reversing climate change by decarbonizing energy-intensive industries such as Steel, Cement, Aluminium and Zinc. Industries account for over 30% of total carbon emissions. In the medium-term, Serentica aims to install 5000MW of carbon-free generation capacity coupled with different storage technologies. Eventually, it aims to supply over 15 billion units of clean energy annually and displace 20 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
