Chief Manager - Planning

Position Summary

Subject position reports directly to the Project Director of the respective project.

This includes both “Capital and Expense projects” of “Transmission Grid” which entails Construction of transmission lines, sub-stations, and execution of Smart Grid solutions

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with various departments to ensure that project plans are in sync with the organization's strategic objectives and AOP. This involves regular coordination with teams such as engineering, procurement, and operations to align on goals and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. Communicate project progress, risks, and changes effectively to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Clear Communication Channels: Establish transparent communication pathways to ensure information flows seamlessly between all teams. Utilize project management software, collaborative platforms, and regular meetings to share updates, expectations, lessons learned, and feedback.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance against established metrics, providing regular updates and reports to senior management. Analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery while minimizing disruptions.
  • Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and dashboards that highlight project status, risks, and performance against the AOP. Ensure these reports are tailored to the needs of different stakeholders, including the CEO, MD, and Chairman

  • Presentation Skills: Craft clear and concise presentations that effectively communicate complex information to senior leadership, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure that presentations address the concerns and interests of the CEO, MD, and Chairman, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas requiring attention.
