Chief Manager – Financial Modelling

Position Summary

To lead the design and development of tender bids, complete with competitive pricing, cost scenarios, project plans and risk assessment

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Financial Modelling & Valuation
• Develop and maintain integrated project finance models for transmission projects under TBCB, PPP, and regulated tariff mechanisms.
• Build detailed financial models covering revenue projections, capital expenditure, operating costs, debt servicing, taxation, and cash flow forecasting.
• Conduct DCF, IRR, NPV, equity return, and sensitivity analyses.
• Perform scenario analysis for changes in project parameters, timelines, tariff structures, financing costs, and regulatory assumptions.
• Validate and audit financial models to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
• Bid Support & Investment Analysis
• Support bid submissions for transmission projects through robust financial evaluation.
• Assess project viability and recommend optimal bid levels.
• Analyze acquisition opportunities, brownfield assets, and strategic investments.
• Prepare investment memorandums and recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
