Lead Collections- Commercial (EPC)

Position Summary

Overall responsible for achieving efficient operational and financial management for multiple Projects, closely working with internal & external stake holders

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Serve as the central coordinator and primary contact for all billing and collection matters relating to EPC projects across the country.
• Oversee and ensure timely and accurate preparation, validation, and dispatch of invoices according to contract schedules and formats, complying with statutory and project-specific requirements.
• Track payment milestones, outstanding receivables, and collection status, providing regular updates on DSO, collection efficiency, billing accuracy, and dispute resolution timelines
• Coordinate with project, finance, legal, and operations teams to reconcile accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and address collection bottlenecks.
• Engage with client authorities to follow up on outstanding payments, support documentation requirements, and resolve disputes or clarifications on invoices and collections.
• Monitor compliance with contract terms, statutory tax requirements (GST, TDS, etc.), and internal controls for all billing and collection processes.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior management on cash flow, collections pipeline, receivables aging, and risk areas.
• Identify process improvements to increase collection efficiency, reduce disputes, and streamline billing operations.
• Support audit, review, and external inspections related to receivables, contracts, and billing records.
• Maintain detailed and organized digital records of all billing and collection documentation for each project and clients.
• Escalate unresolved or critical receivable issues to management and support strategic interventions as needed.
