Purpose of Role

Handles the International and Domestic Direct Tax portfolio for Sterlite Power

Position Title

Manager - DT

Position Demands

  • CA
  • 4 - 7 years expernce in  DT
  • Hard Core Direct Tax role, having handled, international tax advisory, litigation, assessments and appeal.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  1. Helping to develop Direct Tax strategies
  2. Tax planning to optimize the tax outflow and reduce Effective Tax rate
  3. Drafting the Transfer pricing policy for the Group and handling transfer pricing assessment
  4. Handling the monthly compliances by BUs
  5. Filing quarterly and annual tax returns and Transfer Pricing documentation
  6. Handling the advance tax calculations and deposit of taxes by BUs
  7. Handle all business queries on TDS/ direct tax/ transfer pricing
  8. Handling queries related to international taxation and impact of DTAA/ BEPS
  9. Review of agreements from tax perspective
  10. Handle assessments/appeals
