Position Title
Manager- Projects EPC
Position Summary
Overall responsible for Project Management (PMT) activities of multiple Projects, closely working with project Director
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Define detailed project plan and critical path for various levels of plans (monthly, weekly, & daily).
- Continuously monitor potential risks in predefined risk register and define risk mitigation approach.
- Develop and implement systems (including technical/IT), controls and processes to monitor key metrics.
- Develop basis for budgeting and maintain overall Quarterly & Annual budget.
- Maintain control of all drawings and documentations for project including oversight of the management of reports
- Coordination with Project Manager handling site to enable them with required corporate support.
- Work closely with Project Execution Team, Engineering, SCM, Finance and other Cross functional departments
- Close coordination with EPC on billing, EPC order amendment and other related activities
- To work with Cost control team for Budget and Cost approval
- Communication with client for Information sharing, seeking approvals, Amendments, claims, etc.
- Support Project team on Bidding for preparing Overhead & Stationary cost, ROW etc.
- Raise request for purchase requisition, bill booking, good receipt notes to concerned functions and ensure timely closure of same
- Maintain S curves for supply / service in projects to encapsulate revenue, billing & collections.
- Site visits, as and when required.
Critical Success Factors - Essential
- 7-10 years of experience (Exp. in project management / controls)
- Worked on large scale capital projects
- Have sound knowledge of project management tools, i.e. MSP
- Well versed with SAP, Advanced excel & PowerPoint
