Position Title

Manager- Sales & Bidding (EPC)

Position Summary

The role would be responsible for Overall sales (Order Book & Revenue) of Overheads Business. You will also be responsible for working closely with the regional BD leads to drive expansion of Business.

Critical Success Factors - Essential

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in sales, business development, or market expansion within the cable, wire, or related industries, with significant experience entering new markets.
  • Proven record of opening new countries and developing relationships with utility companies and infrastructure clients.
  • Strong understanding of regional regulatory requirements, distribution channels, and industry dynamics in target markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills, with experience in cross-border sales.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

New Market Development & Expansion

  • In partnership with the BD head drive the company’s growth strategy by identifying and evaluating new countries and regions for market entry.
  • Develop market entry strategies that align with the company’s growth goals and regulatory requirements in each target country.
  • Build partnerships with local distributors, agents, and industry stakeholders to facilitate market entry and brand establishment in partnership with BD Heads.

Customer Acquisition

  • Drive revenue realization and secure business with major utilities & EPCs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the utility and infrastructure sectors to gain a foothold in critical markets.

Sales Strategy & Implementation

  • Developing and executing a tailored sales strategy focused on market entry, growth, and customer acquisition in new regions.
  • Set and monitor performance metrics specifically tied revenue generation and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Business Development, Product, and Operational teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, branding, and market requirements.

Sales Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Use analytics and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and make data-driven decisions that support growth objectives.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of sales professionals in a matrix structure
  • Foster a result-oriented culture that encourages innovation, persistence, and excellence in execution.
