Position Title

Manager Maintenance (Cable/ Conductor Industry)

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Manager  to oversee and improve the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production machinery and systems in our metal conductor manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems related to continuous and batch manufacturing processes.

Critical Success Factors - Essential

Strong knowledge of industrial machines such as wire drawing, annealing, stranding, and extrusion

Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is preferred.

Knowledge of Lean Maintenance, TPM, and Six Sigma principles.

Exposure in metal industry specially in Conductor production

Proficient in reading engineering drawings and technical manuals.

8-12 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance role within a metal, cable, or wire manufacturing plant.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving Plant Machine runtime by providing Machine availability for production
• Able to maintain Spares Material, Manpower handling for team of 30 Nos, Daily check sheet, Monthly PM Planning and execution, COC adherence, Spares Inventory under approved level.
• Hand skilled experience in maintaining Gear train of rolling mill, Coiling equipment, Tilting Furnace, Roughing Mill and Finishing Mill stands gauging, Planetary Gearbox, Geared pumps, Lay Gearbox, Hydraulic system - pumps and manifold, Pneumatic System, EOT Crane, Baby Chain Hoist Crane, Induction Heater, Air Compressor, Cooling Tower, Shell & Tube Heat exchanger.
• Well verse with Aluminium Rod Rolling Mill and Conductor Machines viz Stranding Machine, Rod Drawing Machine, Annealing Furnace
• Implement Preventive and predictive maintenance program to address issues before they escalate into major problems. Major focus on getting Opportunity Maintenance done as all Lines are in continuous production for 24/7.
• Must be able to do RCA of Breakdowns and corrective action to avoid repetitive breakdowns.
• Auto cad drawings of Machine parts and spares. Doing modifications of machines to improve safety, quality and productivity of product.
• SAP PM Module knowledge to execute PM and BD entry, raise PR and do material reservations
• IMS Documents, Records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs and replacements.
• Able to maintain ETP plant, FO day tank pump and heating equipment, Fire Hydrant System - Jockey Pump & DG Pump
• Able to execute Workshop jobs of turning, shaping, boring, drilling. Maintaining machine and workshop area upkeep.
• Managing Monthly cost centre, Knowledge of QMS, EMS, OHSAS, ENMS and maintaining documents of same.
