Manager - HSE
Position Summary
Lead HSE across all Projects and O&M sites in Infra Business in India
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Responsible for HSE across all Projects
- Promote EHS culture and awareness and organize EHS training programs for site staff and contractor workforce on a periodic basis.
- Coordinate EHS audits and risk assessment programs, provide support for identification and implementation of key initiatives across the business.
- Drive monitoring of EHS performance metrics, reporting of metrics to project mgmt./senior mgmt. team and identification of risk mitigation steps and develop strategic business initiatives to set global bench mark
- Maintain EHS certification and devise improvement initiatives as per global best practices
- Build operational framework & procedures for HSE and implement in collaboration with Project Team, PMO & SCM to ensure compliance at every step of project execution
- Early engagement with Contractors & 3rd Party Agencies and establish communication protocol between sites to HQ.
- Coordinate & conduct HSE audits & risk assessment programs at sites
- Drive resolution with EPC, Project Team, SCM, Engineering and O&M for non-compliances
- Ensure proactive & preventive actions to mitigate risks in projects.
