Manager - NPD

Purpose of Role

To lead and manage the end-to-end development of new Conductor products, from concept to commercialization. This role will drive innovation, ensure timely project execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet market demands, quality standards, and cost objectives.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development of new optical fiber cable products as per market and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, procurement, production, and quality teams for product design and feasibility analysis.
• Develop product specifications, drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
• Conduct material trials, prototyping, and product testing as per international and domestic standards (e.g., IEC, ITU, BIS, Telcordia).
• Identify and validate new raw materials and technologies to improve product performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met for all new products.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation for all NPD projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product performance, cost optimization, and process efficiency.
• Interface with customers for technical discussions, product validation, and customization needs.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for NPD projects, ensuring on-time delivery and quality outcomes.
