Associate - EHS

Purpose of Role

This position is responsible for managing the foundational EHS systems that are utilized by the organization with an emphasis on manufacturing operations.

Position Summary

• Manage EHS compliance and process conformance, identify opportunities for risk management, and manage and prevent related liabilities from a holistic EHS perspective.
• Support EHS statutory and regulatory compliance programs and takes initiatives for EHS related improvements at plant operations.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Establishes internal process controls for the organization and aligns with all operations in addition to the EHS functions.
• Serves as a point of contact for the organization data collection ensuring that data is collected and consistent for the company requirement.
• Analyzes historical EHS compliance and performance data to determine opportunities for improvement and to support executive leadership in decision making.
• Coordination and interface with Regulatory Agencies in the region. Supporting companies including but not limited to analytical laboratories, certified industrial hygiene firms, water and pollution control engineering companies, third party environmental consulting firms and risk management and law firms representing company risks and liabilities.
• Communication of environmental and health and safety compliance requirements, incident prevention, and energy and waste reduction efforts throughout the facility, from floor personnel to leadership management.
